What LoudPass is

LoudPass is a macOS application that measures audio loudness, conforms files to a chosen delivery target and produces QC reports. It is developed and published by Verstat and sold as a one-time purchase on the Mac App Store.

License

Your use of LoudPass is licensed, not sold, under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, together with the Apple Media Services terms that governed your purchase. The license covers your personal use on Macs you own or control, as described in that agreement.

Your responsibility for deliverables

LoudPass measures with a verified BS.1770 implementation and reports honestly, including when a file cannot reach the target within the true-peak ceiling. The QC report is a measurement aid: you remain responsible for confirming that your final deliverables meet the technical and contractual requirements of your client or platform.

No warranty

LoudPass is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Verstat disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law.

Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something in LoudPass is not working for you, please also tell us - most delivery-spec questions have a quick answer.
