Privacy policy
Last updated: September 30, 2026
The short version: LoudPass runs entirely on your Mac. It has no network access, no account and no analytics. Your audio, your measurements and your reports stay with you.
The app
- Everything is processed on your device. Audio files you add are read and measured locally. Nothing is uploaded anywhere, ever.
- The app has no network capability. LoudPass is sandboxed by macOS without any network entitlement, so it cannot connect to the internet even in principle.
- No data is collected. There are no analytics, no crash-reporting SDKs, no identifiers and no account. The App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected", and that is literal.
- Reports are yours. PDF and CSV QC reports are written to the folder you choose and are never transmitted by the app.
Purchases
LoudPass is sold through the Mac App Store. Your purchase is handled entirely by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy; we do not receive your name, email address or payment details.
This website
loudpass.verstat.dev is a static page. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. To count visits, it uses PostHog (EU region, servers in Frankfurt) in a cookieless, pageview-only mode: each page load sends the page address, referrer, browser type and a truncated location derived from your IP address. There is no session recording, no click tracking, no cross-site tracking and no advertising; we use these counts only to see how many people visit and where they come from. Blocking the script with a content blocker has no effect on the site. The site is served over HTTPS through a content delivery network, whose servers process standard technical request data (such as IP address and browser user agent) transiently for security and operation of the service; we do not use this data to identify visitors.

Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date. Since the app collects nothing, changes are expected to be rare and editorial.
